No matter which Alfa Romeo model you buy or lease, one of the first things you’ll want to do is connect your smartphone. And one of the features that comes standard on every new Italian luxury car & SUV in our lineup is Bluetooth.
It’s a very simple process to use Bluetooth to pair your smartphone with the onboard information and entertainment system to perform a number of functions including:
- Making & receiving phone calls
- Reading text messages aloud
- Stream audio from your library or favorite app

Step-by-Step Instructions to Connect
- Put your Alfa Romeo into park and the ignition is in either the ACC or On/Run position
- For your smartphone, go to your settings to confirm that Bluetooth is switched on or turn it on if it’s not
- In your Alfa Romeo, select Settings > Infotainment > Phone > Bluetooth > Add Device using the rotary pad or touchscreen in the center of the dashboard
- See that the radio system is recognized in your smartphone and select it from your phone’s menu
- Verify the PIN when prompted and accept the connection request by hitting Confirm on the Alfa Romeo's center screen and Pair on your smartphone
There are a couple of things to note when using Bluetooth to pair your smartphone. The first is the fact that software updates on your phone or the onboard information & entertainment system might interfere with your connection and all you’ll need to do to remedy this issue is:
- Delete the device from the list of phones on your radio system
- Remove the information & entertainment system from the list of devices in your phone's Bluetooth settings
- Repeat the pairing process using the step-by-step instructions above
The other thing is that multiple Bluetooth-enabled devices may not work at the same time. If you run into an issue there, you’ll simply need to switch which smartphone is connected to the information & entertainment system.
